For photographers & visual creatives
Hamster — one file, two directions
Drop in your images, arrange the shoot, send one HTML file. Your client opens it, marks their favorites, and sends the selection straight back — no account, no subscription, no cloud in between.
In practice
What a real working canvas looks like
Real Hamster sessions — images placed, resized, and arranged, ready to send to a client. Unedited, full frames.
This is the file itself — not a hosted preview. Whatever you arrange here is exactly what your client opens.
What's inside
Everything lives in one file
Hamster is a single, self-contained HTML application — no installer, no database, no server. Built for photographers who want a fast, private way to share a shoot and collect picks.
Zero-dependency portability
Runs entirely in the browser as a single HTML file. No installation, no backend, no database — and it keeps working with no internet connection.
Creator layout canvas
Drag, drop, and paste images onto an open canvas — each one scales automatically to a sensible size. Reposition, resize, zoom, and snap to a grid. Add titles, notes, and your own logo.
Seamless client proofing
When your client opens the exported file, the editing tools disappear. They browse a clean gallery, mark favorites, and their picks compile automatically.
Direct file security
Images and layout are embedded in the file itself — send it as an email attachment or a private transfer. No third-party storage, no tracking, no accounts.
Works anywhere on the web
Built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Embed it in an iframe on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, or any static site — no plugins required.
Export to PDF too
Compile a clean, print-ready PDF straight from the canvas whenever a client wants a document instead of an interactive file.

SAF production forecasts and cost comparisons for aviation fuel.
Irmeli Kukkapuro Portals — every piece lined up in a clean grid.
The same collection, arranged loosely on the open canvas.
How it works
One file, sent back and forth
Build the shoot
Drop your images onto the canvas, arrange them, add notes and branding.
Send the file
Export as HTML and send it however you like — email, drive, or your own website.
Get their picks
Your client marks favorites in a clean gallery view; their selection comes back to you automatically.
Two ways to arrange
Grid or freeform — your call
Snap everything to a tidy grid, or place images exactly where you want them. Same canvas, either way.
Privacy by construction
No middlemen, no accounts, no cloud
Zero third-party middlemen
No WeTransfer, no Dropbox, no cloud storage service standing between you and your client.
Complete data ownership
Selections and files move directly between you and your client — nothing is stored on a server you don't control.
No accounts, no tracking
Runs 100% offline. Your clients never sign up for anything, and nothing phones home.
One purchase, yours to keep
A tool you buy once, not rent forever
Hamster is a straightforward purchase: pay once, get a licensed copy of the file, use it on every shoot from here on. Want the complete feature breakdown before you buy?

Questions
Before you buy
Do I need to install anything?
No. Hamster is a single HTML file that runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — on Mac or PC. Double-click it to open it, no installer, no account.
How does my client receive the file?
However you'd normally send a file — email attachment, a shared drive link, or embedded in your own website. Since your images are packed into the file itself, there's nothing else for your client to download or sign into.
What happens after I buy?
Gumroad emails you the file along with a unique license key. Open the file once and enter your key to activate your copy — after that it works offline, on that device, for good.
Is there a subscription?
No. It's a one-time purchase. There's no account, no recurring billing, and no cloud service that can be discontinued later.
